Privacy Policy

Suzuri is a private ledger, and it is built like one. This policy explains what data the app keeps and how it is handled. The short version: your record lives on your devices and in your personal iCloud, and it never passes through my hands.
Data Collection
Suzuri stores the following information locally on your devices and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud account:
- Goals you create, including their names, targets, and chosen inks
- Sheets and their marks: the entries you log, including slips
- Private notes you attach to a sheet
- Categories used to organize your goals
- App preferences and settings
Suzuri has no accounts, no sign-in, and collects nothing else. I never see your goals or your marks.
iCloud Sync
Suzuri uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your ledger across your devices: iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. This data is stored in the private database of your personal iCloud account and is protected by Apple's security measures. I do not have access to your iCloud data and cannot read, recover, or share it.
Widgets
Suzuri's widgets read your ledger directly on your device to display your sheets and lay marks, whether on the Home Screen, Lock Screen, or Control Center on iPhone and iPad, or on the Mac desktop. No widget data leaves your device.
Siri & Shortcuts
If you lay marks by voice or through the Shortcuts app, those actions are handled by Apple's App Intents framework on your device. Suzuri does not send your requests, goal names, or marks to any external server.
Data Export & Import
You can export your complete ledger from the app as a plain, readable archive, and import one back. Exports are created on your device and go only where you choose to send them. Suzuri never transmits your archive anywhere on its own.
Analytics and Tracking
Suzuri does not include any third-party analytics, tracking tools, or advertising SDKs. I do not collect usage analytics or track your behavior within the app.
Purchases
Suzuri is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. I never see your payment information.
Data Sharing
Suzuri does not share your data with third parties. Your goals, marks, and notes are never sold, rented, or transmitted to external services.
Data Deletion
You can delete goals, sheets, and marks at any time within the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Data synced to iCloud can be managed through your iCloud settings.
Children's Privacy
Suzuri does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app collects no personal information from anyone. All data stays on the user's own devices and in their own iCloud account.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
